The LinknLink eMotion Ultra is an advanced presence sensor built on 60GHz mmWave technology, designed to detect occupancy in rooms where traditional motion sensors can fail when a person is sitting still or not moving. Unlike the eMotion Pro, this model adds 3D zone detection, location tracking, and anti-interference features, making it possible to build more precise automations for specific areas such as a sofa, desk, bed, or hallway. According to the official specs, it supports up to 4 custom zones from the app. In addition to presence detection, it includes a light sensor, temperature and humidity sensing, a 360-degree infrared emitter for controlling TVs, air conditioners, and other IR devices, as well as BLE hub functions for compatible LinknLink accessories. For Home Assistant, the eMotion Ultra supports MQTT-based workflows, exposing entities related to presence, zones, light, temperature, humidity, and infrared for local automations. It does not require a proprietary hub for basic setup, since it connects over 2.4GHz WiFi. The device is powered via USB-C and requires a certified 5V/2A adapter. LinknLink lists compatibility with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, while Matter and SmartThings are shown as planned features in a future update, so they should not be marked as active compatibility until they are available.
