SONOFF TRVZB
Sonoff · TRVZB
The SONOFF TRVZB is a smart thermostatic radiator valve that lets you automate heating room-by-room using Zigbee 3.0. It replaces the radiator's traditional thermostatic head and allows temperature adjustment from the eWeLink app, via automations, schedules, scenes, voice control or supported platforms. Its standard M30 x 1.5 mm threaded connection makes it compatible with many common radiator valves, and SONOFF includes adapters to extend compatibility with different systems and heating manufacturers. Still, it's advisable to check the compatibility guide before buying, especially if the installation uses less common valves. Key features include remote control, scheduling, group management, open-window detection and valve percentage adjustment. Open-window detection automatically stops heating during ventilation to avoid wasting energy, while percentage control helps fine-tune the radiator's response. The valve incorporates a PID algorithm that flexibly modulates the opening to keep temperature more stable and improve energy efficiency. It also offers temperature calibration, child lock, frost protection and access to historical data for up to 6 months to analyze usage patterns and optimize schedules. An interesting feature is support for an external temperature sensor. If the temperature near the radiator does not reflect the actual room temperature well, you can use a compatible SONOFF Zigbee sensor such as SNZB-02, SNZB-02D or SNZB-02P when the valve is added to ZBBridge-P or ZBBridge-U. This helps heating respond to the room temperature rather than only the temperature near the radiator. For smart home integration, the TRVZB works with Zigbee 3.0 hubs like SONOFF iHost, NSPanel Pro, ZB Bridge Pro, ZBDongle-P and ZBDongle-E, as well as other hubs compatible with Zigbee 3.0. It can also be used on open platforms such as Home Assistant and ioBroker. For Apple Home, SONOFF states compatibility via Matter Bridge using solutions like ZBBridge-U or eWeLink CUBE; therefore, it should not be considered Matter-native.
