The SONOFF MINI-RBS is a smart module designed to turn traditional motorized blinds, shades, or curtains into connected devices. It installs behind the switch or in a compatible in-wall box and lets you control opening and closing from the app, by voice, through automations, or from Matter-compatible platforms. One of its main features is percentage-based control, which lets you adjust the blind position more precisely than simple open/close commands. It also supports scheduling, smart scenes, and travel deviation calibration to reduce positioning errors and improve performance over time. The device works over 2.4GHz WiFi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and is Matter-compatible, so it can be integrated into ecosystems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, and other Matter platforms using a compatible hub. It can also be used with the eWeLink app for remote control, scenes, and scheduling. Its compact size is designed for European switch boxes, although it is worth checking the available depth before installation. SONOFF states that when used with the ERBS accessory, the box must be deeper than 30 mm. The module supports blind motors with a load of up to 1A and uses 100-240V~ 50/60Hz power. It is not a Zigbee or Thread module: the main connectivity is 2.4GHz WiFi, and Matter compatibility works over WiFi. It is also not intended for general lighting loads like a standard relay, since it is specifically designed for blind, shade, or curtain motors.
